The cultivation and processing of coffee takes place without the use of chemical synthetic pesticides.
This coffee is purchased at favorable trade conditions from small farmers' organizations.

Bolivian highland coffee grows under shade trees and has a sweet, slightly sour and full flavor. The coffee is delicious after a good meal as a dessert coffee and good to start the day with. Illimani coffee is 100% Arabica and is grown organically (Illimani has the EKO quality mark in Europe), which means that no artificial or synthetic fertilizers or pesticides are used. In addition, the farmer takes biodiversity into account by maintaining or creating green areas. Illimani coffee is grown in two different regions of Bolivia.
